Fujimoto Awards is an annual award for Japanese film

The Fujimoto Award is taken from the name Sanezumi Fujimoto, one of the legendary film producers and filmmakers in Japan. Now the Fuji moto Awards is an annual event which awards local Japanese films.  In Indonesia, the Fuji moto Awards is more or less similar to the Citra Trophy at the Indonesian Film Festival (FFI).

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train wins the 40th Fujimoto Award!

Eiga Engeki Bunka Kyōkai or the Japan Film Association has announced which film won the 40th Fujimoto Award this year.

None other than the film, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train, the film did get positive reviews and was liked by Japanese audiences.

It's not new for anime films to win the Fujimoto Award because previously there was also Makoto Shinkai who won this award.

Aniplex, Ufotable, and Shueisha also received general awards from the film Kimetsu no Yaiba

Indeed, overall this is a victory for the film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train, but that's not all. Makoto Oyoshi from Shueisha, Atsuhiro Iwakami from Aniplex, and Hikaru Kondo from Ufotable also won general awards for the film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train.
