Sowing seeds is the process of laying the seeds to germinate. The aim is to obtain uniform plant growth.

Basic Information of Ginger Seed Sowing

  1. The seeding medium is straw or husk with a thickness of 5 cm each in 4 layers with a height of 20-25 cm;
  2. Humidity is maintained by spraying water 1-2 times / week (don't water it);
  3. The rhizomes used must be healthy, have been re-dried for about ½-1 day and have 2-3 buds;
  4. Immersion of the rhizome into a solution of disinfectants and growth regulators; about 1 minute before sowing in the media for seedlings;
  5. Use of kitchen ash or rice husk at the top of the seeding medium;
  6. Sowing the seeds for 2-4 weeks.
