Ketogenic fasting is a way to reach a state of ketosis

In the post about WHAT IS THE KETOGENIC DIET, it was mentioned that the state of "ketosis" that we want in this diet can also be achieved by fasting. In the Ketogenic Diet we can combine various types of fasting or what is called "keto-fasting".

The Ketogenic diet makes us more flexible in choosing the fast that suits our body condition and our target. Of course, for different targets, the fasting rules are different.

Fasting for weight loss/maintaining health is definitely different from fasting for the treatment of certain diseases. Fasting to "break up" stagnant weight like fat fasting is definitely different from fasting for cancer therapy.

Even in ketogenic can be combined with Muslim sunnah shaum. Double bonus term (get the diet, get the reward). What is commonly done in the Ketogenic Diet is Intermitten Fasting or known as IF.

For example, IF 16 (8 hours eating window, so we start eating at 12 noon and stop eating at 8 pm). In IF no calories are allowed, only water, coffee or tea without sugar.

Jimmy Moore in his book "The Complete Guide to Fasting" said that when he was on the Ketogenic Diet, it really helped him to fast for days without eating (water fasting = only drinking water). However, what must be considered is that fasting in the Ketogenic Diet is carried out according to the needs and conditions of our bodies which are also "fat adapted".

The condition of "ketosis" that has occurred in our bodies thanks to the Ketogenic Diet or what we call nutritional ketosis, is also very helpful for us to undergo fasting "naturally", because we are not easily hungry and also our bodies will remain fresh and stamina.
