This is because the results of tracing are known to hundreds of employees, families including the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of West Java who have confirmed Covid-19.

Based on the information received, it was recorded that there were 82 positive ASN and 26 ASN families, then 27 non ASN and 4 non ASN families, then there were 3 people who were doing internships and 2 families of apprentices.

“Including the Secretary of State (confirmed positive for Covid-19). However, 27 people have recovered. The circular (lockdown of Gedung Sate) is new, we will extend it until the 25th. Starting from Thursday last week, said Head of the General Bureau of the West Java Secretariat, Sumasna, Thursday (17/6).

Even so, the lockdown conditions were not fully enforced. The reason is, there are several employee matters that require mobility to Gedung Sate. He ensured that the majority of employees run Work From Home (WFH).

“In the circular we list everything WFH first. But it's a bit difficult because someone has to go back and forth. So we still have tolerance that there are still people who have to go back and forth to the office for their work. So there are those who cannot fully WFH, we are the general bureau, we facilitate them to come back and forth," he explained.

“Other facilities are off, for example mosques, our canteen is off. If so, we can't do that at all. It's just that there is still a workspace that needs to be back and forth," he continued.

On the other hand, the percentage of occupied beds for Covid-19 patients at hospitals in Greater Bandung is the highest in West Java. Data on June 16, 2021, the figure reaches 86.18 percent.
