What are the requirements for table tennis equipment?

The history of the spread of the sport of table tennis

The game of table tennis was only known in Indonesia in 1930. At that time, the game of table tennis was only played by the Dutch, as a pastime or for recreation for the Dutch in meeting halls. Thus, it can be said that the game of table tennis at that time was not yet known by the Indonesian people.

Around 1900 the game of table tennis began to develop and spread to countries in Western Europe, Central Europe, and America. Then into Asia to China and Japan.

Then the idea arose to form the International Table Tennis Federation, which is known as the Internationale Table Tennis Federation, which is abbreviated as ITTF. The Table Tennis Federation in Asia was founded in 1952 under the name Table Tennis Federation of Asia.

Meanwhile, specifically in Indonesia, a table tennis association throughout Indonesia was established in 1958, which was named PTMSI (All Indonesia Table Tennis Association) which was previously named PPPSI (Indonesian Ping Pong Association).
