Critical path has zero float, so the activities on the critical path should not be delayed. Float makes the project work flexible . One of the below options is not a valid float, identify it.

Valid Float Types are;

  • Total Float: The float for an activity is the amount of time that can be delayed without impacting the project schedule. The float for the activities on the critical path is zero.
  • Free Float: The amount of time an activity can be delayed without affecting the early start of its successor.
  • Project Float: The amount of time a project can be delayed without delaying the externally imposed project completion date.
