Apple Officially Launches iPhone 13 Series
Apple officially launched four new smartphones at the Apple Event in the early hours of this morning. Namely, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. So what's the difference with the iPhone 12 which was launched last year.
iOS Difference at iPhone 12 & iPhone 13
The iPhone 13 Series is the first iPhone device to use the iOS 15 operating system. While the iPhone 12 uses iOS 14. Both devices support 5G internet.

iPhone 13 series will be available first in Singapore for Asia
Just like the iPhone 12 series, there are four iPhone variants launched for 2021, namely the "regular" iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple announced that it will immediately open the tap for orders for the four iPhone 13 variants starting September 17 for the United States and Singapore regions.
From the official Apple Singapore page, the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max can simultaneously be ordered directly on the official website on September 17, at 8 pm Singapore time or 19:00 WIB.
After the pre-order period, the iPhone 13 lineup is scheduled to be available on September 24 in Singapore. In a statement posted on the site, Apple limits the number of purchases of these four iPhone 13 models, which is only two iPhone 13s for each customer.
For the price, in Singapore, the iPhone 13 line is priced starting at the cheapest price of 1,149 Singapore dollars to the most expensive starting at 2,629 Singapore dollars. This price depends on the model and storage capacity chosen by consumers. The price tag of the iPhone 13 series in Singapore is slightly more expensive than the selling price of the iPhone 13 in the United States.
Samsung mocks Apple
The launch of Apple's champion attracted public attention, including competitors such as Samsung who did not hesitate to throw satire. The United States Samsung Mobile Twitter account mocked the launch of the iPhone 13, which until now still uses bangs or notches as the front camera module.
"Imagine, there will still be a notch in 2021," said @SamsungMobileUS via Twitter, quoted on Wednesday (15/9/2021).
As is known, the notch or bangs is one of the front camera designs that usually appear on mobile phones. This model is still used for Apple and Android smartphones.
Bangs or notches are rarely found on Android flagship phones. For example, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 folding phone no longer uses bangs. Currently only entry level phones still have bangs.
While at Apple, the iPhone 13 series, which is a new product, is still using the notch. Although in this iPhone series the notch appears 20 percent smaller than the iPhone 12 which was present last year.
This mutual mockery between smartphone brands is not the first time this has happened. Previously at the launch of the iPhone 12, Apple got a lot of ridicule for not embedding a charger in the iPhone 12 cellphone.
As for some brands that mock Apple are Samsung and Xiaomi. But not long ago, these two Apple competitors actually copied Apple's style by not including the charger in the Samsung Galaxy S21 series or Mi 11.
iPhone 13 . Battery Capacity
Apple has finally revealed the full battery capacity of the iPhone 13 officially on the Chemtrec website. Even so, Apple did not break down according to mAh capacity as other Android phones usually do. According to a 9to5mac report, Wednesday (22/9/2021), Apple uses the unit of watt hour for iPhone batteries.
The capacity of the iPhone 13 series is indeed increased from the iPhone 12 series issued last year.

As per reports, the increase in battery life is usually influenced by chips with greater energy efficiency or battery physique. The iPhone 13 series is likely to take advantage of these two factors, namely using a more efficient A15 Bionic chip and a larger battery cell inside.
For information, at the launch of the last iPhone, Apple announced that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max lasted 2.5 hours longer than the previous generation. While the iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 Pro can last more than 1.5 hours than the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro models.
