The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday, June 14, 2021, has just revealed that apart from the Kudus area, Central Java, the new variant of Covid-19 Delta B1617.2 has also infected people in Jakarta and Bangkalan Madura. There are 19 people who have been infected with the Delta variant of Covid in Jakarta.
Of the 19 people, only 5 people have been declared cured. Most of those who were exposed to the virus were migrant workers, while 5 people who were declared cured were Indonesian citizens.

This is quite unfortunate by the Indonesian people, considering that during the last Eid al-Fitr celebration, all people were prohibited from going back to their hometowns and isolation between cities was carried out so that residents did not travel. On the one hand, foreign workers are even allowed to enter Indonesia when the protocol is implemented.

If it is like a chicken that lives in a cage and cannot come out. Meanwhile, the cage was added with new chickens from outside which are not yet known whether they are clean or not from virus infection.

Due to this incident, President Joko Widodo immediately summoned the Governor of Jakarta to immediately take emergency measures to prevent the spread so as not to disrupt the economy which was in a slump.
